Brian J. D’Amico I Founder
I founded Lighthouse Law General Counsel, a Miami-based boutique law firm, to provide on-demand access to practical, business-minded legal counsel—without the overhead of a full-time legal department.
I bring 20 years of experience navigating complex legal, regulatory, and business challenges across sectors including mining, manufacturing, technology, energy, and healthcare. I know that strategic advice at the earliest stage is key to unlocking value and avoiding costly missteps when opportunities or issues arise.
Before launching Lighthouse Law GC, I served as General Counsel, Americas, for Ferroglobe PLC (NASDAQ: GSM), a global leader in silicon alloys. There, I led major M&A, financing, and real estate transactions; and implemented global compliance and contracting programs. I oversaw litigation worldwide, including securities / fiduciary duty actions and environmental / safety enforcement matters. And I spearheaded North American business development for advanced silicon applications in the EV, solar, and semiconductor sectors—managing strategic investments, partnerships, trade strategy, and government incentives.
Earlier in my career, I practiced at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, representing clients in securities and fiduciary duty matters, class actions, multidistrict litigation, civil RICO claims, investigations, and international arbitration.
I earned my J.D. from the SMU Dedman School of Law and am admitted to practice in Florida, New York, and Texas.
